County Administrative Office

The County Administrative Officer is appointed by and under the direction of the Board of Supervisors and is responsible for the coordination of county programs, departmental budgets, and the oversight of overall operations of county business.  The County Administrator also acts as Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and various boards including the Board of Equalization and Air Pollution Control District. The Clerk of the Board Office and the Personnel Department are separate divisions under the jurisdiction of the County Administrative Office.
