Handcuffed kid close-up from back

Once processed in the juvenile court system there are many different pathways for juveniles. Whereas some juveniles are released directly back into the community to undergo community-based rehabilitative programs, some juveniles may pose a greater threat to society and to themselves and therefore are in need of a stay in a supervised juvenile detention center.

As of June 27, 2017, all youth will be housed in the Tehama County Juvenile Detention Facility
