Pursuant to Government Code 65858(d) a report shall be issued prior to the extension or expiration of the interim (urgency) ordinance describing the measures taken to alleviate the condition which led to the adoption of the ordinance. The below report is a summary of actions taken by County staff since the adoption of the Marijuana Urgency Ordinance #1261.
PEOPLE v. BUSH, ANGEL - Defendant was previously convicted of misdemeanor violations of Penal Code sections 647(f), Drunk in Public, 273.5(a), Corporal Injury on a Boyfriend, and 243.1, Battery on a Custodial Officer. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 4th time. Defendant was sentenced to 360 days in county jail. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Garcia.
PEOPLE V. MADDEN, KYLE- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 289(d), Sexual Penetration by Foreign Object of an Unconscious Person. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 4th time. Defendant was sentenced to 6 years in state prison and probation was terminated. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Roenspie and Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.
