- California Air Resources Board and Environmental Protection Agency Meetings, Workshops, and Webcasts are ongoing and change regularly.
- The Voucher Incentive Program (VIP) for on-road heavy-duty diesel vehicles is available now! Over $15 Million in funds are available statewide to replace 1993 and older high-polluting trucks with 2007 and newer cleaner trucks. This program is available for small fleets and owner-operators based in California for the previous two years. Air districts can direct interested participants to http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/moyer/voucher/voucher.htm for program information and a list of current participating dealerships. Also, the Providing Loan Assistance for California Equipment (PLACE) Program for on-road vehicles is also available. Small fleets can apply for both incentive funds through VIP and for financing through PLACE. For a list of participating CalCAP lenders providing loans under the PLACE Program, go to: http://www.arb.ca.gov/ba/loan/loan.htm .Finally, ARB has a hotline available to help truck owners with questions regarding regulations and funding opportunities. May 2010
- District is bringing an amended version of the CARB's Airborne toxic Control Measure to the Board for a vote to become District Regulation Section106. Update-The Board passed the Regulation at its May 18th meeting.
- District is bringing administrative changes to the Book Of Regulations to the Board to comply with SB 700. Update-The Board passed the Regulation changes at its May 18th meeting.
- The District has had its Off-Road Equipment Replacement Program approved by CARB!! We can now grant Carl Moyer funds for the replacement of some off-road equipment with new off-road equipment.
June 2010
- Applications for CAPCOA's Rural Assistance Program are due June 30, 2010. These are Carl Moyer program grant funds returned to the State by Air Districts unable to expend the funds. Applications are available here or in our District office.

- The District is planning to bring the 2009 Northern Sacramento Valley Planning Area Triennial Air Quality Attainment Plan to the Board for adoption.
