Hours to receive STAFF-ASSISTED services at the America’s Job Center Employment Resource Centers will be on the days as follows:

STAFF ASSISTED HOURS FOR THE WILLOWS SITE:

Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Beginning Monday, 01/12/15

THE ORLAND RESOURCE CENTER STAFF ASSISTED HOURS WILL BE:

Tuesday, Thursday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

You will need to bring your Right-to-Work documents with you for staff-assisted services.

On all other days/hours, the America’s Job Center Employment Resource Centers are available to the public on a “self-serve” basis Monday-Friday; 8-5

 

The Glenn County America’s Job Center has been awarded a small grant to assist VETERAN’S

in moving quickly from military life into high-wage jobs and civilian careers.

This project will focus on training veterans for careers in the following industries: 

(1) Healthcare, (2) Protective Services, (3) Installation/Maintenance, and (4) Production and Transportation 

The Glenn County America’s Job Center will be able to serve veterans who have service-connected disabilities; campaign veterans; veterans with significant barriers; as well as eligible spouses and recently-separated veterans.

Recently-separated veterans will be a high priority for this project. This group is most in need of identifying transferable skills, re-training into civilian occupation areas, and assistance with job attainment and retention.

SHOP FOREMAN to be part of a close, efficient team in Glenn County. Duties: This position is responsible for ensuring the daily maintenance of all application and support equipment at the assigned shop location. AGRICULTURAL COMMISSIONER/SEALER OF WEIGHTS AND MEASUREMES. Glenn County.  The Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights and Measures is responsible for the overall management of the agricultural, weights and measures, air pollution, vegetation, environmental management and hazardous waste and materials programs for Glenn County. The incumbent is appointed by the Board of Supervisors for a four year term as Agricultural Commissioner and Sealer of Weights and Measures, and is appointed and serves at their pleasure as Air Pollution Control Officer and Director of the CUPA Administrating Agency. Job Duties: Develops, plans and implements department goals and objectives; recommends and administers policies and procedures. Administers the Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA), which oversees hazardous waste generator inspection and on-site hazardous waste treatment pro-grams, above ground storage tanks, hazardous materials release response plans and inventory program, risk management program, underground storage tank program, and uniform fire code plans and inventory requirements. CHILD CARE RESOURCE SUPERVISOR. Job Duties: Train, supervise and monitor unit staff and complete scheduled evaluations. Collaborate with Manager and staff to develop/maintain Program policies/procedures/ handbooks/documentation to implement Title 5 Child Care Program requirements.
