The 4-H PROGRAM ASSISTANT will provide administrative support to the 4-H Youth Development Program in Glenn County. Under supervision of the 4-H Program Representative, the 4-H Program Assistant will assist in the organization of 4-H programs and events. Performs basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Basic metal-working, welding, and fabrication.
Driving a Class 1 tractor and trailer on property.
Provide feedback to improve plant processes, PM processes and Plant efficiencies through new PM development or modifying existing PM’s.
Work safely on a daily basis and continually be observant of other’s safety. Follow all Plant Safety Programs as required. Be an active participant in the Safety Brake Program.
Performs Water Chemistry monitoring and record keeping. Which includes, boiler testing, chill water testing, evaporative cooling tower testing, well water testing, COW water testing and Sanitizer water testing. Monitors these systems according to written procedures, makes systems adjustments as necessary. Informs Maintenance Leadperson, Plant Management and the Chemical Supply Company of all equipment issues, situations or test results that do not meet required parameters. Operates systems in accordance to written /verbal procedures and provided technical training.
Maintains water wells, well equipment according to regulatory requirements and detailed instructions provided from Catalyst E1 – PM Program (CMMS).
Performs repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting activities on all equipment, Boilers, Plant Systems and Wastewater Systems.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated:
Mechanical Aptitude – plant equipment.
Effective communication skills with Maintenance Manager/Lead, Mechanics, Operations Management, Employees, and Plant Manager. Successful Candidates will be required to pass established Maintenance entry level skills evaluation to be selected for the job.
Successful candidate will need to supply their own basic hand tools.
