AS HEARD IN COURT DECEMBER 8, 2017

PEOPLE V. SEVERS, JOSIAH- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 529(a)(3), False Impersonation. Defendant was sentenced to 360 days in county jail, 3 years formal probation, and Drug Court. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Roenspie and Simpson.

PEOPLE V. MUNOZ, JESUS- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 483.5(a), Unlawfully Furnish a Deceptive Identification Document. Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 273a(a), Child Endangerment, and Penal Code section 243(e)(1), Battery on Cohabitant and was placed on formal probation. Defendant was found in violation of probation in both cases. Defendant was sentenced to 390 days in county jail with 120 days suspended, 3 years formal probation, and Drug Court. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Branson. 

PEOPLE V. GARCIA-NUNEZ, BIBIANA- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 4573(a), Bringing Drugs into Jail. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days in county jail, 3 years formal probation, and Drug Court. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Cessna and Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Hahn. 

PEOPLE V. CHAVEZ JR., SALVADOR- Defendant was previously convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 243(e)(1), Battery on Cohabitant. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 3rd time. Defendant was sentenced to 90 days in county jail and probation was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.

PEOPLE V. SMITH, AIMEE- Defendant was previously convicted of misdemeanor violations of Penal Code section 273a(a), Child Endangerment, Vehicle Code section 23152(e), DUI, and Vehicle Code section 14601.1(a), Driving on a Suspended License. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 1st time. The defendant was sentenced to 90 days in county jail and probation was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Garcia. 

PEOPLE V. COLBERT, CHRISTOPHER- Defendant was convicted of misdemeanor violations of Penal Code section 148.9, False Name to Peace Officer, and Health and Safety Code section 11364(a), Possession of a Methamphetamine Pipe. Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 470(d), Forgery and was placed on formal probation. Defendant was found in violation of probation. Defendant was sentenced to 60 days in county jail and formal probation was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Zarate.

PEOPLE V. TAYLOR, DALE- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 30305(a)(1), Possession of Ammunition by a Felon. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days in county jail suspended, 3 years formal probation, and Drug Court. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Fullmore and Roenspie.
