PEOPLE V. CARTWRIGHT, JASON- Defendant was previously convicted of felony violations of Vehicle Code section 10851(a), Vehicle Theft, Penal Code section 459, 1st Degree Burglary, Penal Code section 664/530.5 Attempted Identity Theft, and Penal Code section 496(a), Receiving Stolen Property. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 5th time and probation was terminated. Defendant was sentenced to 3 years and 8 months in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Tompkins and Willows Police Department Sgt. Stover. 

PEOPLE V. CHAVEZ, PEDRO- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 30305(a), Felon in Possession of Ammunition. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from Chico Parole Unit Agent Huey and Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Lopeteguy.  

PEOPLE V. AKMAN, DANIEL- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 290.010/290.018(b), Failure to Register as a Sex Offender with a Prior Conviction. Defendant was sentenced to 16 months in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Willows Police Department Officer Ayres and Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detective Blair. 

PEOPLE V. SZOSTAK, JOSEPH- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 69, Resisting a Peace Officer Using Force. Defendant was sentenced to 16 months in prison and $78.80 in restitution. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Willows Police Department Sgt. McIntyre and Detective Alves. 

PEOPLE V. MARTIN, ANDREA- Defendant was previously convicted of 3 separate misdemeanor violations of Vehicle Code section 23152(b), DUI with BAC above 0.08%. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 1st time in each case and sentenced to 300 days in county jail. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck. 

PEOPLE V. JACOBO, ALBERTO- Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code sections 273.5(a), Corporal Injury on Cohabitant and 1320(b), Failure to Appear while on Own Recognizance. Defendant was sentenced to 240 days in county jail, 52-week Batterers Treatment Classes, and 3 years formal probation. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Mills. 

PEOPLE V. SCHERMER, AARON- Defendant was convicted of a felony violations of Penal Code section 422(a), Criminal Threats, and Penal Code section 273.5, Corporal Injury on Spouse. Defendant was sentenced to 177 days in county jail, 3 years of formal probation, and 52-week Batterers' Treatment Program. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Barnes. 

PEOPLE V. CHAVEZ-CARDONA, LILIANA- Defendant was convicted of 2 misdemeanor violations of Penal Code section 273a(a), Child Endangerment, and Vehicle Code section 23152(b), DUI with BAC above a 0.08%. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days in county jail, child endangerment counseling, and 4 years of formal probation. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Roenspie and Simpson.

PEOPLE V. FRED, KENNETH- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 273a(a), Child Endangerment. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days in county jail, child endangerment classes, and 4 years formal probation. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Corbin and Detectives Blair and Knight.  

PEOPLE V. VAUGHN, DANIEL- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 459, 2nd Degree Burglary. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 2nd time. Defendant was sentenced to 120 in county jail. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officers Moize and Edwards. 

PEOPLE V. WALLACE, JOHN- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 529(a)(3), False Impersonation. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days in county jail suspended and 3 years formal probation. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Barnes.
