Declaration of emergency issued by Glenn County Board of Supervisors Nov. 15, 2018
 
The Glenn County Director of Emergency Services of the County of Glenn found that conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property have arisen caused by the Camp Fire in Butte County. These conditions were or were likely to be beyond the control of the services, personnel, equipment, and facilities of the County, and per the authority granted to the Director of Emergency Services, a local emergency existed and was declared as such on November 9, 2018 in accordance with Government Code 8630(a) and Glenn County Ordinance GCC 02.520.050 which empowers the Director of Emergency Services to proclaim the existence or threatened existence of a local emergency when said County is affected or likely to be affected by a public calamity and the Glenn County Board of Supervisors is not in session.
 
Glenn County provided law enforcement mutual aid; operated the Glenn County Emergency Operations Center and staffed an evacuation shelter established at the Glenn County Fairgrounds.  Following the Sheriff's proclamation the Glenn County Board of Supervisor's held a special meeting Thursday, November 15, 2018 adopting a resolution ratifying the local disaster proclamation due to the CampFire in Butte County.
