With the current situation we are facing with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Glenn County Health & Human Services, Social Services Department is taking many precautionary steps to protect our staff and community. You might notice that our service delivery has changed with appointments being conducted by mail and/or phone. We want to make sure that our service delivery meets the needs of our community and keeps everyone safe. We are prepared to make the necessary changes as things evolve.

The Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency is committed to ensuring the continuity of Essential Services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Essential Services include:
Child Welfare Services--emergency response and assuring the safety of dependent children
Adult Protective Services--emergency response and assuring the safety of seniors and dependent adults from abuse
In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)--intake and reassessments triggered by reports of change in needs, IHSS Payroll, and the Public Authority for IHSS if a care provider is needed
Public Assistance Programs--CalWORKS, CalFRESH, Medi-Cal and Homeless assistance
Eligibility for Economic Injury Disaster Loans is based on the financial impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The interest rate is 3.75 percent for small businesses. The interest rate for private non-profit organizations is 2.75 percent. SBA offers loans with long-term repayments in order to keep payments affordable, up to a maximum of 30 years and are available to entities without the financial ability to offset the adverse impact without hardship.
Applicants may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information and download applications at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email email@example.com for more information on SBA disaster assistance. Individuals who are deaf or hard‑of‑hearing may call (800) 877-8339. Completed applications should be mailed to U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.
The deadline to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan is Dec. 16, 2020.
This form is not required, but is a convenience in clarifying the supporting documentation the state is required to submit to the U.S. Small Business Administration when requesting an Economic Injury Disaster Loan Declaration.
