American Cancer Society Glenn County Relay For Life
The Health and Human Services Agency is partnering to support the American Cancer Society Glenn County Relay For Life “Survivor and Caregiver Recognition” event by having a “HHSA Team” at the event. Please come join us at the Willows High School track for a special half day Carnival event starting at 10:00am on Saturday, April 21, 2018 and support your fellow county employees and our team’s efforts to help raise awareness. The event will have activities for participants of all ages commencing with a 5K Fun/ Run/ Walk, carnival themed games throughout the day, lots of food, raffle prizes and fun. Please see attached flyer for the event, the 5K registration form and a request for survivor and caregiver information. A special recognition ceremony will conclude the event with a moment to honor the survivors, remember those that have lost their fight and to thank the Caregivers and the community that supports this cause.
This is a family friendly free event. We hope to see you at the track. HHSA supports this event in raising our community’s awareness of the importance of early detection and cancer screenings and good public health.
