TO PROVIDE ON-CALL ENGINEERING SERVICES

 

The Glenn County Department of General Services invites a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified consultants to provide on-call engineering services for upcoming County projects.

 

The SOQ must be received by the County no later than 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 delivered either in person or by mail to the following address:

The County intends to secure agreement(s) with engineering consultant(s) to provide on-call engineering services. These services will consist of performing design improvements and upgrades to County owned buildings and facilities, preparation of bid packages for said building projects, construction support, and other engineering needs the County may require. Other services may include but are not limited to drafting of as built plans, assistance with development of capital improvement plans, consultation on placement of office furniture and equipment in relation to efficient use of space, and compliance with codes and regulations.  Existing County facilities include, but are not limited to office buildings, maintenance shops, airport hangars, parks, storage buildings, and other public properties. These facilities greatly vary by type, size, condition, and building material. Anticipated projects have limited budgets and design tasks must be done in the most cost effective manner and with concise planning and thought to such budget constraints.

 

Please note that the County is seeking qualified consultants who are able to perform and coordinate all of the above-mentioned engineering services. The County of Glenn affirms that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of 
Glenn will accept sealed bids for road 
construction materials as listed below at 
the Glenn County Public Works
Agency office located at 777 N. Colusa 
Street, Willows, CA 95988 until 1:30 P.M. 
Monday, May 13, 2019. Interested firms

All materials and services must conform to 
and meet all applicable requirements of the 
Caltrans 2010 Standard Specifications; see 
material description for further information. 
Additionally, aggregate providers must meet 
California’s Public Resources Code, Section 
2717(b) commonly referred to as the AB 3098 
List. Sections 10295.5 and 20676 of the 
Public Contract Code preclude mining 
operations that are not on the AB 3098 list 
from selling sand, gravel, aggregates, or 
other mined materials to state or local 
agencies.
