AS HEARD IN COURT JUNE 2, 2017

PEOPLE v. LAFRANCE, PAUL TOM.- Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code section 273.5(f)(1), Corporal Injury on a Cohabitant with a Prior Domestic Violence Conviction, and Penal Code section 273a(a), Child Endangerment. Defendant was sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Fullmore.

PEOPLE v. MCLAIN, BRYAN.- Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Vehicle Code section 10851, Vehicle Theft, Penal Code section 459, First Degree Burglary, and two prior prison commitments. Defendant was sentenced to 6 years and 8 months in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from Orland Police Department Sergeants Vlach and Johnson and Officers Ayres, Mills, and Roenspie.

PEOPLE v. MORO, MIGUEL.- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 186.22(a), Criminal Street Gang Activity and a prior prison commitment. Defendant was also found in violation of probation for the 5th time.  Defendant was sentenced to 4 years in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Sergeants Johnson and Vlach and Officer Cessna.

PEOPLE v. BERGMEN, THOMAS.- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 29800(a)(1), Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Defendant was also found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years and 8 months  in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Deputy Probation Officers Van Eck and Perry and CHP/GLINTF Officer Cushman.

PEOPLE v. GONZALEZ, PRISELLA- Defendant was found in violation of mandatory supervision probation for the 5th time. Defendant was sentenced to 576 days in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Deputy Probation Officer Van Eck, CHP/GLINTF Officer Cushman, and Orland Police Department Officer Carmon.

PEOPLE v. RUBIO, SALLY Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 368(b)(1), Allow/Cause Injury to Dependent Adult. Defendant was sentenced to Defendant was sentenced to 300 days in county jail, and 3 years of formal probation,. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff’s Office Detective Blair and Victim Witness Advocates Pinedo and Troughton.
