PEOPLE v. JIMENEZ, MARIA- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Welfare and Institutions Code section 10980(c)(2), Welfare Fraud and a felony violation of Penal Code Section 118(a), Perjury. Defendant was sentenced to 240 days in county jail and formal probation for 5 years. The Defendant was ordered to pay the full restitution with her co-Defendant Reyes Bernal-Moreno in the amount of $23,566. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Health and Human Services Agency Special Investigations Unit Investigator Bouldin.  

PEOPLE v. BERNAL-MORENO, REYES- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Welfare and Institutions Code section 10980(c)(2), Welfare Fraud, a felony violation of Penal Code Section 118(a), Perjury, and a misdemeanor violation of Vehicle Code section 23152(b), Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol over 0.08% BAC. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days in county jail and 3 years formal probation. The Defendant was ordered to pay the full restitution with his co-Defendant Maria Jimenez in the amount of $23,566. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Health and Human Services Agency Special Investigations Unit Investigator Bouldin.  

PEOPLE v. RAYGOZA, EDUARDO- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violations of Penal Code sections 273.5(a), Corporal Injury on a Domestic Relationship and placed on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS). Defendant was found in violation of PRCS for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days in jail and PRCS was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.

PEOPLE v. SANTIAGO GONZALEZ- Defendant was convicted by a jury of 3 felony counts in violation of Penal Code sections 664/189, Attempted Murder by Destructive Device, 3 counts of 18745, Explode Destructive Device with Intent to Murder, 3 special allegations of 12022(b)(1), Use of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, 451(d), Arson of Property of Another, and 18740, Explode Destructive Device with Intent to Injure. This incident occurred on September 28, 2017 at the Cedar Hills Apartment Complex in Willows. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Lemmon, and Detective Knight, CHP Officer Cushman, and Willows Fire Department Chief Peabody. Sentencing is presently set for July 18, 2018.
