PEOPLE V. FUENTES, MARTIN-  Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code Section 487(a) Grand Theft over $950 and a new misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 148(a)(1), Resist Obstruct Delay Police Officer. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 3rd time. Defendant was sentenced to 3 years prison. PEOPLE V. GARWOOD, IDA- Defendant was convicted of two misdemeanor violations of Penal Code section 530.5(a), Identify Theft. Defendant was sentenced to 240 days jail, $2,626.60 restitution, and 3 years of formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detective Knight.

PEOPLE V. JONES, TRAVIS- Defendant was previously convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 273.6, Violation of Restraining Order. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 4th time. Defendant was sentenced to 300 days jail. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Cessna.

PEOPLE V. MENDEZ, SHANE- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 136.1(c)(1), Prevent Dissuade Threaten a Witness. Defendant was found in violation of parole for the 11th time. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days jail and Post Release Community Supervision was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Parole Agent Huey.

BARNES, JUSTIN- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code Section 487(a), Grand Theft over $950 and a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 243(e)(1), Battery in a Dating Relationship. Defendant was sentenced to 150 days jail and 3 years formal probation with the 52 week Batterer’s Treatment program. PEOPLE V. LAY, RONALD GENE- Defendant previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 422, Criminal Threats. Defendant admitted to his 6th parole violation. Defendant was sentenced to 135 days jail and Post Release Community Supervision was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by Dwayne Stewart with assistance from Parole Agent Lovett.

PEOPLE V. ABBOTT, MISTY JOE- Defendant was previously convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Vehicle Code section 23103/23103.5, Wet Reckless. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days jail and probation was terminated. Defendant was sentenced to 90 days jail, child endangerment classes, and 4 years formal probation. PEOPLE V. LESTE, MARY- Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 273a(b), Child Endangerment. Defendant was previously convicted of a Vehicle Code section 23152(b), DUI over 0.08% BAC and found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 90 days jail, child endangerment classes, and 4 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Thompson.
