PEOPLE V. SUMAHIT, NICOBI- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code 459, 1st Degree Burglary, Person Present under 667.5(c)(21) and admitted the special allegation 12022.7(c), Inflicting Great Bodily Injury to a Victim over 70 yrs old, the victim was 84 yrs old in this case. Defendant was sentenced to 11 years state prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Roenspie, Fullmore, and Mills, Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detective Knight, and Glenn County Probation Department Officer Pfyl.

PEOPLE V. IDZINSKI, SEAN- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Health and Safety Code Section 11378, Possession of Narcotics for Sales and a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code Section 273.6, Violating a Domestic Violence Restraining Order.  The Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 6th time. Defendant was terminated from probation and sentenced to 2 years in state prison and 180 days in county jail. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Permann.

PEOPLE V. SANCHEZ, RAFAEL- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code Section 459, Second Degree Burglary and misdemeanor violation of Health and Safety Code 11550(a), Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance. Defendant was sentenced to 240 days jail, Drug Court, and 3 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputies Branson and Ramirez. 

PEOPLE V. BUTTERFIELD, HANK- Defendant was previously convicted of a a felony violation of Penal Code section 245(a)(4), Assault with Great Bodily Injury Likely. Defendant was found in violation of Post Release Community Supervision for the 5th time. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days jail and PRCS was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.

PEOPLE V. BURKHART, EROL- Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 290.011(a), Transient Violation of Sexual Offender Registration Upon Release from Jail. Defendant was previously convicted on 3 separate misdemeanor cases in violation of Penal Code sections 422, Criminal Threats and 148.9(a), False ID to Peace Officer, and Vehicle Code section 31, False Info to a Peace Officer. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days jail and 3 years court probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Lemmon.

PEOPLE V. BURT, LEVI- Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Vehicle Code section 4462.5, False Registration. Defendant was previously convicted of Vehicle Code section 23109(a), Speed Contest and found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 90 days jail and 3 years court probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Lowery. 

PEOPLE V. JARVIS, DAVID- Defendant was sentenced to a misdemeanor violation of Health and Safety Code section 11550(a), Under the Influence of Methamphetamine. Defendant was sentenced to 90 days jail and 3 years court probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Thompson.

PEOPLE V. ZUNIGA, BENITA- Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 647(f), Public Intoxication and previously convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Vehicle Code section 23152(a), DUI and found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 60 days county jail and 3 years court probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Cessna.

PEOPLE V. MENA, BRIAN- Defendant was convicted of misdemeanor violations of Health and Safety Code sections 11377(a), Possession of Methamphetamine and 11364(a), Possession of Syringes. Defendant was sentenced to 90 days jail suspended and 3 years court probation. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Ramirez.
