2nd Glenn County resident COVID-19 death

Glenn County – A Glenn County resident has passed away from complications associated with COVID-19. The resident was a north county resident over the age of sixty-five. The resident passed away in the hospital after an extended stay. The resident had multiple underlying chronic health conditions and contracted COVID-19 from a close contact. Glenn County Public Health expresses its sincere condolences to the person’s family and friends.


Thirty-nine Glenn County residents are currently positive for COVID-19, thirty-two are isolated at home and seven are hospitalized. Three hundred forty-six Glenn County residents have contracted COVID-19 since March; three hundred five people have since recovered.


COVID-19 is in our community and it is critical that every resident take precautions:

  • Wash your hands often
  • Maintain social distancing of at least six feet
  • Stay home if you are sick
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Limit non-essential travel
  • Avoid gatherings
  • Avoid sick people
  • Wear a face covering when in public or common spaces
