Murder Suspect Arrest
Willows, CA- On August 24, 2021, the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the United States Marshals Office located and arrested the fourth and final outstanding murder suspect in relation to the disappearance of 26 year old Brandon Bryce Dawson in Orland, CA on March 8, 2019. The United States Marshals Service located 44-year-old Lane Cleo Walker Jr. at Rolling Hills Casino in Corning, CA around 1PM yesterday afternoon. Walker had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Glenn County for Kidnap, Torture and First Degree Murder with special Allegations in relation to the Dawson Kidnap and Homicide Investigation.
Four weeks prior to Walker’s arrest, the Glenn Investigative Narcotics Task Force arrested three other individuals in connection to the murder of Brandon Dawson.
- On 07/28/21, GLINTF Investigators arrested 44-year-old Stanley Scott Grundy of Corning. Grundy had an outstanding Glenn County arrest warrant for Kidnap Torture and First Degree Murder with Special Allegations.
- On 07/28/21, GLINTF also arrested 39-year-old Clayton Stanley Humphrey of Flournoy. Humphrey had an outstanding arrest warrant for 1st degree Murder, Accessory after the Fact and Moving or Concealing Evidence.
- On 07/30/21, GLINTF Investigators arrested 52-year-old John Cornelius Poldervaart of Capay. Poldervaart had an outstanding Glenn County arrest warrant for Kidnap and Torture.
All four men are currently housed in the Glenn County Jail pending court proceedings.
