Missing Person Update
Willows, CA – Missing person, William “Larry” Parham, 85 years old, was found deceased Monday, May 22, 2023, by a community member who was aiding in the search. He was located in a remote area south of County Road 48 in north-east Willows. Next of kin has been notified.
Mr. Parham was first reported missing in Willows on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at approximately 6 p.m. to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and volunteers from the Glenn County Search and Rescue, V.I.P.S, and both Willows and Kanawha Fire Departments searched on foot, in vehicles and by air. A CodeRED alert was issued to residents in the Willows area and Nixle alert was issued to the community to gather information on the whereabouts of this missing at-risk senior. Community members assisted in the search by canvassing neighborhoods, parks, and businesses throughout the Willows area. Thank you to the outpouring of community support for this search.
