Glenn Ride!

The Glenn County Transportation Commission is conducting its annual effort to seek input on any unmet transit/transportation needs that might exist within the County.

An unmet transit need can be found to exist when there is any identifiable group within the population that has no dependable and/or affordable access to employment, medical, commercial, public or social services. Transit needs are not static – they can fluctuate with such variables as unemployment, population demographics, land use and circulation patterns, and variations in the local economy. Because of this, transportation needs are annually re-evaluated and revised as necessary. 

The Commission will hold four public hearings (schedule noted below), where the public is encouraged to attend and provide comments or potential needs that are transportation related not being met within the community.   


Public Hearing attendance is not mandatory to submit comments. We encourage any comments from the community (preferably in written form) at any time prior to July 1, 2024. Please feel free to complete and return the comment card linked below, or contact the Transportation Commission staff at:
