People vs. Volz, Devin—Defendant was convicted of two felony violations of Penal Code sections 287(b)(1) (Oral Copulation of Person Under 18 years of Age) and three misdemeanor violations of Penal Code sections 647.6(a)(1) (Annoying or Molesting Child Under the Age of 18). Defendant was sentenced to 2 years 8 months state prison. Defendant will be required to register as a sex offender for a minimum of 20 years. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff’s Deputy Thompson.

People vs. Syndergaard, Brett—Defendant was convicted of two felony violation of Vehicle Code section 23152(a) (Driving Under the Influence). Defendant was sentenced to 16 months state prison for the first felony violation and a concurrent 16 months state prison for the second violation. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Officer Martindale and Glenn County Sheriff’s Deputy Mallon.

People vs. Quilling, Christopher—Defendant was convicted of a felony violations of Penal Code section 459(2nd Degree Burglary). Defendant was sentenced to 8 months State Prison consecutive to his other prison sentence. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff’s Deputy Rassmussen.

People vs. Hogue, Jarred—Defendant was convicted of a felony violations of Penal Code 1320(b) (Failure to Appear). Defendant was sentenced to 8 months prison, consecutive to his other prison cases.. This case was prosecuted by ADA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County probation officer Chavaro.

People vs. Smith, Darrin—Defendant was convicted of a felony violations of Penal Code section 243(d)(Battery with serious bodily injury), 273.6(a) (Violate protective order) misdemeanor, 242/243(e)(1) (Domestic violence) misdemeanor, and violations of probation. Defendant was sentenced to 1 year state prison for each offense to be served consecutively. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation officer Berglund.

People vs. Carlos-Guevara, Juan—Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 25400(a)(2) (Carrying a concealed firearm upon a person) and a felony violation of Penal code section 29800(a)(1)(Possession of a firearm by A Felon or Addict). Defendant was sentenced to formal probation and 180 days county jail. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Officer Martindale.

People vs. Bush, Johnathan—Defendant was convicted of a violation of post release community supervision.  Defendant was sentenced to 180 days county jail and reinstated on PRCS. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Ortiz. 

People vs. Hernandez, Jose—Defendant was convicted of two felony violations of Penal Code section 69 (Use of violence against a police officer) and a misdemeanor violation of penal code section 242(Battery). Defendant was sentenced to 180 days county jail for the two felony violations and 52 days county jail for the misdemeanor violation. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Officer Sutton and Sanchez.

People vs. Nelson, Ryley—Defendant was convicted of felony violation of Penal Code section 4573(a)(Unlawfully and knowingly bringing a controlled substance into prison/jail) and two misdemeanor violations of Vehicle Code section 14601.1(a) (Driving with a suspended/revoked license). Defendant was sentenced to 180 days county jail. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Officer Martindale.

People vs. Whitlock, Terril—Defendant was convicted of a violation of probation. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days county jail. This case was prosecuted by ADA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Vessels.

People vs. Tadeo, Ulises—Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 25400(a)(2) (Carrying a concealed firearm upon a person). Defendant was sentenced to formal probation and 120 days county jail. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Officer Sanchez.

People vs. Gutierrez Mercado, Edgar—Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 69 (Use of violence against a police officer). Defendant was sentenced to formal probation and 105 days county jail. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Officer Sutton.

People vs. Marmolejo, Jose—Defendant was convicted of a violation of post release community supervision.  Defendant was sentenced to 90 days county jail and reinstated on PRCS. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Ortiz.

People vs. Douglas-Ayala, Cesar—Defendant was convicted of a violation of probation. Defendant was sentenced to 30 days county jail. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Chavero.
