News You Can Use

We would like to remind our customers and the community that a significant number of families in California may be eligible to receive a state and/or federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The EITC is a tax credit for low and moderate income individuals and families, and will not be counted as income for families receiving CalWORKs assistance. Some families who did not pay any income tax last year may also qualify for an EITC. To receive an EITC, individuals and families must file a tax return, even if they do not owe any tax or are not required to file.
