The Glenn County Air Pollution Control District is pleased to announce a voucher program to replace combustion engine lawn and garden equipment with zero emission equipment. Landscapers, businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies are eligible to apply. Eligible participants who apply receive a voucher to replace like for like lawn and garden equipment with cordless zero emission equipment such as trimmers, leaf blowers, edgers, chainsaws, and mowers offered at participating retailers. The old equipment is handed over and destroyed. Vouchers will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

The District has received $175,000 for this opportunity from the Carl Moyer Program, a statewide program that provides air districts with funding for projects to replace high polluting engines with cleaner technologies. More information and applications for the program can be found on our website at https://bit.ly/GClawnandgarden.
