Glenn County District 5 Board of Supervisor to Resign from Office

GLENN COUNTY – On June 10, 2022 Glenn County Board of Supervisor, District 5, Ken Hahn, announced his resignation effective June 22, 2022.

Supervisor Hahn was elected into office in January 2021, serving Glenn County residents in District 5 for one and a half years. In his tenure, Hahn served on numerous committees and commissions. Supervisor Hahn was an advocate for employee telecommuting, the Hamilton City Fire Department, the Hamilton City Community Services District and the Hamilton City Clean-up which will take place on June 11, 2022. He encourages the Board and staff to continue their efforts related to code enforcement, drought and the Sites Reservoir.  

Supervisor Hahn took pride in representing the County of Glenn where he was born, raised and lived for 60 plus years of his life. He has continuously provided valuable insight and assistance to the County of Glenn and his colleagues during his time on the Board.

Supervisor Hahn is stepping down due to a planned relocation to Redding, CA to be closer to family and grandkids.

I can’t say enough about the people of District 5 in Glenn County, the Glenn County staff, the department heads and my fellow board members.  I appreciate them and their hard work,” said Hahn.  

As Supervisor Hahn transitions away from an elected supervisor he plans to spend time with his grandkids and travel with his wife, who has recently retired.
