SUBJECT: AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP

The Airport Advisory Committee was established by Board of Supervisors Resolution 90-184 with the intent of providing a single-entity liaison between the Public Works Agency and the citizens of Glenn County, thus providing better communication between interested parties. The Committee has the function of assessing and interpreting public sentiment regarding County airport facilities and the aviation needs of the people of Glenn County. Public Works staff is seeking applications from Glenn County citizens with an interest in general aviation and who are willing to devote their time and effort to improve general aviation in Glenn County.

Applications can be obtained:

• or can be picked up at the Public Works Agency office at 777 North Colusa Street, Willows, CA.

Completed applications can be emailed or dropped off at the aforementioned addresses. The committee consists of five (5) regular members. The membership term is three years. All interested parties are encouraged to complete an application and return it to the Public Works Agency by August 31. 2023.
