The purpose of this Request for Proposal (proposal) is to solicit and award a multi-year contract to a service provider for high quality, cost-effective legal representation of the Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) in juvenile dependency proceedings. Material Testing Services for Willows and Orland Airport Pavement Preservation Project

The County of Glenn (herein referred as "County") is now accepting quotes for material testing services for the Willows-Glenn Airfield Pavement Preservation Project. 

Material testing and sampling frequency will be as directed by the County Engineer or his designee and have a not to exceed amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00). The anticipated construction schedule, Appendix
A, is attached along with this Request for Quotes.

Testing laboratories must have been inspected by a National authority and conform to ASTM E994 for P401 and P501 projects. The testing laboratories must meet the requirements of ASTM D3666 or Cl 077. Examples of National authorities are The American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (AALA), AASHTO accreditation program, AASHTO Materials Reference laboratory, or Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRC).

Any questions regarding this request for quotes must be in writing, and directed to the Planning & Public Works Agency no later than five (5) days prior to the due date. Inquiries received after 1 :30 PM on July 20, 2016, will not be considered. Emailed questions will be accepted at engineer@countyofglenn.net.

Professional Engineering, Consulting, & Planning Services for the Glenn County Airports

The County of Glenn (County) is requesting Statements of Qualifications for Professional Engineering, Consulting, and Planning Services for the Glenn County Airports. Located approximately halfway between Sacramento and Redding in Northern California, Glenn County is home to two (2) local airports: Haigh Field in Orland, CA, and Willows-Glenn Airport in Willows, CA.
Consultant selection will generally utilize the One-Step RFQ Method, as described in Section 10.6 of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM).
Selection procedures will also adhere to the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E: Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Consultant Services for Airport Grant Projects.

As part of the services, the Consultant(s) will be required, on an as needed basis, for up to five years, to perform airport-related activities as development planning, engineering studies, preparation of federal

County of Glenn & City of Willows Request for Qualifications for County Engineer/ Road Commissioner, County Surveyor, Chief Building Official and Building Plan Check/Code Enforcement

County of Glenn (COUNTY) and the City of Willows (CITY) are seeking qualified firms and individuals to establish a prequalified list for future on call services or issue a contract for on call services immediately if COUNTY or CITY deems necessary. The prequalified list/contract(s) will be created for the following positions, County Engineer/Road Commission, County Surveyor, Chief Building Official and Building Plan Check/Code Enforcement. Private consulting firms providing architectural, landscape architectural, engineering, environmental, land surveying, construction engineering, or construction project management services, with respect to a construction project, are termed “Architectural and Engineering (A&E) Consultants. It is the COUNTY and CITY’s intent to procure the aforementioned positions on the basis of fair and open competitive negotiations, demonstrated competence, and professional qualifications in accordance with 23 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 172, at a fair and reasonable price (48 CFR 31.201-3).

The COUNTY and CITY are also seeking to establish a list of prequalified consultants for future on call services and/or contract for on call services immediately if COUNTY or CITY deems necessary. Glenn County Fleet Services- Online Only Surplus Auction

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Glenn County Fleet Services is holding an Online Only Surplus Auction. Bidding will begin on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. The first lot will close on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., lots will then close in one minute intervals by numerical order. Potential bidders will be able to inspect vehicles on Monday May 16, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. All vehicles are located at the Glenn County Fleet Services Center- 453 East County Road 49 ½ Willows, CA 95988. Buyer will pay a 15% premium on all items purchased. Purchases must be removed by Friday, May 20, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Items cannot be removed until entire invoice is paid, late removals will incur a rental/storage fee.
