The Glenn County Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) governs the Glenn County portions of the West Butte Subbasin that are not within the service area of another Groundwater Sustainability Agency. Generally, the Glenn County GSA is bounded on the west by the Sacramento River, on the east by Reclamation District 2106 and the Butte County GSA, and on the south by the Glenn-Colusa County boundary. The GSA generally follows the Sacramento river from the Glenn-Colusa County boundary north to the Corning Subbasin where Glenn and Butte Counties coincide. Additionally, there is a small piece of the GSA area in the south-east corner of the County.
