PEOPLE V. HARRIS, KEITH- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code sections 245(c), Assault on a Peace Officer with a Deadly Weapon on Officers Carmon and Carrillo of the Orland Police Department with a Strike and 245(a)(1), Assault on a Deadly Weapon, to wit the Concrete Floor, with admission of a Strike Prior. Defendant was sentenced to 12 years state prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Carmon, Carrillo, Mills, Roenspie, and Sergeant Vlach, Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detective Felton and Deputies Draper, Lemmon, Kelso, Martinez, Corbin, and Jacinto. 

PEOPLE V. PODOLYAK, YEGOR- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 4573.6, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Prison Camp. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years state prison. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Valley View Prison Camp Lieutenant Ingwerson and Officer Pine.

PEOPLE V. TAYLOR, DALE- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 30305(a)(1), Possession of Ammunition by a Felon. Defendant was previously convicted of the same felony, 30305(a)(1), Possession of Ammunition of a Felon and was found in violation of probation for the 5th time.  Defendant was sentenced to 2 years state prison and probation was terminated. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Thompson and CHP Agent Cushman

PEOPLE V. LISLE, GREGORY- Defendant was convicted of a felony violations of Vehicle Code section 23152(b)/23550,  4th DUI and Penal Code section, 69, Force and Violence on a Peace Officer. Defendant was found in violation of misdemeanor DUI probation for the 1st time.  Defendant was sentenced to 1 year and 124 days jail and 5 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputies Goodwin and Owens, California Highway Patrol Officers Owens and Cleek, and Orland Police Department Officer Cessna.   

PEOPLE V. BERGGREN, JONATHAN- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon, to wit, a Machete, and Vehicle Code section 23152(f), Driving Under the Influence of Methamphetamine. Defendant was sentenced to 364 days jail, drug court, and 5 years formal probation. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from California Highway Patrol Officers Gardner, Williams and Lieutenant Eccles.

PEOPLE V. ABEL, MICHAEL- Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 148(a)(1), Resist Obstruct Delay a Peace Officer and found in violation of probation on 2 separate misdemeanor Health and Safety Code section 11364(a), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; violation of probation on a misdemeanor 242, Battery; violation of probation on misdemeanor 273.5(a), Corporal Injury to a Cohabitant. The defendant was sentenced to 240 days jail, probation was terminated on one case and reinstated in the other 3 cases, and 3 court probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann and with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Ayres and Sergeant Gibbs.

PEOPLE V. CUIN, PEDRO-  Defendant was convicted of a felony violations of Penal Code section 422, Criminal Threats and misdemeanor 273.6(a), Violation of a Restraining Order. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days jail, 52 weeks Batterers Treatment Program, and 3 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Mills. 

PEOPLE V. SHAEFFER, AARON- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Health and Safety Code section 11366, Maintaining a Place for Controlled Substances and found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days in county jail and probation was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Moize.

PEOPLE V. NANCE, TRAVIS PAUL- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 273.5(f)(1), Infliction of Corporal Injury on a Cohabitant with a Prior Domestic Violence charge. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days jail and PRCS was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck. 

PEOPLE v. RAYGOZA, EDUARDO- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violations of Penal Code sections 273.5(a), Corporal Injury on a Domestic Relationship and placed on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS). Defendant was found in violation of PRCS for the 2nd time. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days in jail and PRCS was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.

PEOPLE V. SHANKS, STEPHEN- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code sections 236, False Imprisonment and 273.6, Violation of a Restraining Order. Defendant was sentenced to 150 days and 3 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputies Turner and Draper.

MCDOWELL, JEFFREY- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 273.5(a) Infliction of Corporal Injury on a Cohabitant.  Defendant was sentenced to 140 days jail and PRCS was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.

Defendant was sentenced to 120 days jail, drug court, and 3 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Turner.

PEOPLE V. NORMAN, CHARLES- Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violations of Penal Code section 488, Petty Theft and 148(a)(1), Resist Obstruct  Delay a Peace Officer, and Health and Safety Safety Code section 11377(a), Possession of Methamphetamine. Defendant was found in violation of probation on 3 separate misdemeanor cases. Defendant was sentenced to 90 days jail and 3 years probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Cessna and Glenn County Sheriff''s Office Deputy Lourenzo.  

PEOPLE V. SCHERMER, AARON- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 273.5(a), Corporal Injury on a Cohabitant and misdemeanor conviction of 422(a),Criminal Threats. Defendant was found in violation of the 2nd time. Defendant was sentenced to 60 days in county jail and probation was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Ortiz.
