GUILTY VERDICT
Last week the DA’s office had a two-day jury trial at the Orland courthouse. Thank you to all perspective and selected jurors for your time and patience during this Thursday/Friday trial schedule!
PEOPLE V. BAYLES, CASEY- Defendant was convicted by a jury on felony violation of Penal Code Sections 29800(a), Felon in Possession of a Firearm, 30305(a), Felon in Possession of Ammunition, and 667.5(b), Served Prior Prison Commitment. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from former California Highway Patrol Officer Cushman. The sentencing will be held on April 12, 2019.
