NOW OPEN: BRIDGE 11C0057 OVER SALT CREEK ON COUNTY ROAD 306
Bridge 11C0057, over Salt Creek, on County Road 306 is open following an emergency repair project. The project to repair the bridge, completed by Knife River, began in late September. The roadway will reopen to all traffic by the end-of the-day on Friday, October 20, 2023.
This project replaced the fill behind both bridge abutments, replaced the sacked concrete with rock slope protection (RSP), restored the roadway with new compacted aggregate base and hot mix asphalt (HMA), and constructed non-erosive drainage outlets to the creek. Completion of the repair project allowed the County to open Bridge 11C0057 on County Road 306 to regular traffic.
Some minor work needs to be completed, so drivers may encounter occasional lane closures and crews on the bridge. The Glenn County Public Works Agency encourages drivers to use caution and slowdown in the area.
