PEOPLE v. RAMON BARRERA Jr.- Today, defendant plead guilty to a violation of Penal Code Section 192(c)(1), Vehicular Homicide. On January 22, 2017, Defendant drove his 2010 Ford Fusion recklessly passing several vehicles traveling on Highway 32. The last vehicle he passed resulted in a head on collision striking Brett Silva's vehicle. Brett Silva lost his life as a result of this collision. Mr. Silva's two minor children, were severely injured.
