PEOPLE V. BURROWS, ANDREW - Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code section 288(c)(1), Lewd Act On A Child 14 Years Old with Defendant Being Over 10 Years Older and was found in violation of probation on a misdemeanor child neglect case. Defendant was sentenced to 3 years state prison and probation was terminated. This case was prosecuted by ADA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Lourenzo.

 

PEOPLE V. ZUNO, TERESA - Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code section 4573.8, Bringing Heroin into the Glenn County Jail and a second felony for the same including also bringing Methamphetamine to the Jail. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years state prison. This case was prosecuted by ADA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Correctional Deputy R. Alves, Cervantes Perez, Corproal Sullivan, and Sergeant Melgarejo and CHP Willows Officer Williams.

 

PEOPLE V. BLANTON, STEWART - Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 422, Criminal Threats. Defendant was sentenced to 16 months state prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from former Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Branson and CHP Willows Officer Defrancesco.

 

PEOPLE V. JOHNSON, KEVIN - Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 290.011(a), Failure to Register as a Transient Sex Offender. Defendant was sentenced to 16 months state prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Draper.

 

PEOPLE V. EVANS, LAUREN - Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 4573.8, Bringing Methamphetamine into the Glenn County Jail and found in violation of probation on 4 separate misdemeanor drug related cases. Defendant was sentenced to 480 days jail, drug court, and 3 years probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Correctional Deputy R. Alves and Deputies Ramirez and Johnsen and Glenn County Probation Department Officer Permann.

 

PEOPLE V. GARIBAY, JOSE- Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code section 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon with a Glass Bottle on Victim 1 and another 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon with a Glass Bottle on Victim 2, and misdemeanor violations of 243(e)(1), Domestic Battery, 243(b), Battery on an Officer, 273.6(a), Violation of a Restraining Order, and Vehicle Code section 23152(b), DUI over 0.08% BAC, and was found in violation for the 1st time in a domestic battery misdemeanor case. Defendant was sentenced to 129 days jail, drug court, and 3 years probation. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Roenspie.

 

PEOPLE V. MORAIS, ERIKA- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 530.5(a), Identity Theft and was found in violation of mandatory supervision for the 5th time. Defendant was sentenced to 80 days jail and probation was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Deputy Probation Officer Permann.

 

PEOPLE V. DEATON, JEREMY- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 11379, Possession of Controlled Substances for Sale and was found in violation of mandatory supervision for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 60 days jail and probation was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Deputy Probation Officer Van Eck.
