PEOPLE V. JON FREDERICK KELLEY III- This incident occurred on December 25, 2020 in the city of Orland.  Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code sections 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon on Victim #1 with a special allegation 12022.5(a), Personal Discharge and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of Felony, 246, Shooting at an Inhabited Dwelling on Victim #2, 22810(a), Use of Tear Gas by a Felon, 29800(a)(1), Felon in Possession of Firearm, 69, Resist Peace Officer with Force or Violence on Victim #3, 71, Threaten Police Officer In Course of Duty on Victim #4, 422(a), Criminal Threats on Victim #5. Defendant was sentenced to 19 years state prison. This case was prosecuted by ADA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Carmon and Pinedo, CHP Officer Rodgers, Butte County CPS, and Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputies Sheldon, Martinez, White, Beckett, and Corporal Berlier. 

PEOPLE V. RODRIGUEZ, MACLOVIO - Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code sections 273.5(a), Corporal Injury on Spouse, 422(a), Criminal Threats, and 29800(a)(1), Felon in Possession of Firearm. Defendant was sentenced to 5 years 4 months state prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from the Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Cordova, and Glenn County Probation Officer Deputy Perry. 

PEOPLE V. SEBASTIAN MELGOZA- Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Vehicle Code sections 2800.2(a), Evasion and 10851(a), Automobile Theft. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days jail and 2 years probation. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Tuma

PEOPLE V. LESTE, MARY - Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 4573.6, Bringing Drugs into the Jail and was found in violation of probation for the 3rd time. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days jail and probation was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from the Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.

PEOPLE v. TYLER LOPEZ- Defendant was previously convicted of 29800(a)(1), Felon in Possession of Firearm and was found in violation of Post Release Community Supervision. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days and PRCS was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Perry. 

PEOPLE V. IDZINSKI, SEAN- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 21810, Possession of Metal Knuckles and misdemeanor Health and Safety Code Sections 11377, 11350, and 11364 for controlled substances and was found in violation of probation for the 3rd time. Defendant was sentenced to 177 days jail and  6 months rehabilitation and probation was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.

PEOPLE V. EVANS, LAUREN - Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 4573.8, Bringing Methamphetamine into the Glenn County Jail and found in violation of probation for the 4th time. Defendant was sentenced to 141 days jail probation was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Van Eck.

PEOPLE V. MICHAEL PHILLIPS- Defendant was previously convicted of felony violations of Penal Code section 459, Second Degree Burglary, Penal Code section 22210, Possession of a Billy Club, and a prior Strike conviction and was found in violation of Post Release Community Supervision for the 4th time. Defendant was sentenced to 60 days jail and PRCS was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by ADA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Ortiz.

PEOPEL V. TARA SKIDMORE- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Vehicle Code section 10851(a), Auto Theft. Defendant was sentenced to 90 days jail stayed upon successful completion of probation, drug court, 2 years probation, and ordered to pay $23, 419.94 in restitution. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Ayres.

  PEOPLE V. MICHAEL ANGEL RANGEL- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 21810, Possession of Metal Knuckles and was found in violation of probation for the 3rd time.  Defendant’s probation was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Van Eck.
