Willows, CA – Monday July 29, 2019, Glenn County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on the 600 block of N. Shasta Street in Willows for a report of a shooting. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Deputies arrived on scene and found a deceased gunshot victim inside of the residence. The gunshot victim was identified as 44 year old Michael Paul Oliveira of Orland. Investigators from the Glenn Investigative Task Force are investigating the circumstances behind the shooting. There are no named suspects at this time.
The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office is committed to the welfare and safety of the citizens of Glenn County and will remain steadfast in investigating this incident until all persons responsible for the commission of this crime are apprehended.
