Prepare beehives for pollination season. Follow the instructions of experienced Beekeepers, working to ensure high quality hive health. Load and unload beehives. Move beehives to and from various field and orchard locations in order to pollinate crops. Assist in raising queen bees, as well as in treating, medicating and feeding bees. Repair and build bee boxes, and complete other basic upkeep duties such as facility maintenance and bee yard clean-up.

 

No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively. 3 months experience required. Must be able to provide references to verify experience.


ASSURANCES: Housing is provided for workers only. Employer will provide, at no cost to the worker, provisions, utensils, utilities and facilities for using in preparing their own meals. Housing and tools provided at no cost to workers. Employer provides workers compensation insurance where required by law. Job Description:

In order to perform this kind of work, workers must be able to work outside for at least 7 hours a day in all kinds of weather and be in possession of the requisite physical strength and endurance to conduct harvest activities, working rapidly and skillfully with hands. The worker will be provided with all necessary equipment to perform these harvest-related tasks. Workers must be able to listen, understand, and follow the instructions of company supervisors and managers. Workers must be willing to perform all duties according to the employer’s rules and regulations during the contract period.

 

Working conditions: Workers will be expected to work in conditions normally associated with uneven fields and the California climate. These conditions include: dust, extremes of temperature and humidity, wind and at times, exposure to high levels of pollen. Workers should wear clothing suited to these conditions, including closed-toe shoes, hats, gloves, protective sleeves, and jackets which will provide adequate protection and allow freedom of movement.

 

Field worker- Workers will work in prune dehydrator cleaning, pushing carts, and sorting.

Workers will work in walnut huller sorting, cleaning, and filling bins.

Each worker will plant by hand prune, harvest and field-pack prunes, walnuts and almonds.

Each worker will harvest and prepare for packing (but not pack in retail boxes) prunes, walnuts and almonds.

Each worker will remove bedding plastic, clean up fields, and transplanting and laying plastic mulch.

In order to perform this kind of work, workers must be able to lift and carry 60 lb. boxes.

Must be able to operate machinery, to bend and stoop throughout the day, extensive pushing and pulling.

 

Truck Driver – Requires a valid commercial driver’s license.

Worker will drive truck to transport prunes, walnuts, and almonds to and from the farm to processing facilities.

The employer will be responsible for the arrangement and cost of the California Driver’s License, California Special Driver Certificate, and Medical Examiners Certificates (if any/if applicable).

Para realizar este tipo de trabajo, los trabajadores deben poder levantar y transportar cajas de 60 libras. Debe poder operar maquinaria, agacharse y agacharse durante el día, empujando y tirando mucho.

Conductor de camión: requiere una licencia de conducir comercial válida. El trabajador conducirá un camión para transportar ciruelas pasas, nueces y almendras hacia y desde la granja hasta las instalaciones de procesamiento.

Summary
The Hotel Manager is responsible for all aspects of operation of the hotel, from day-to-day staff management and guests. The Hotel Manager is the ambassador for the hotel and provides leadership and strategic planning to all departments to maximize operations and guest satisfaction.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 
 
  • Oversees all operational functions of the hotel.
  • Holds regular briefings and meetings with all departments.
  • Ensures full compliance to Hotel operations, policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Leads all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment.
  • Reviews all guest complaints/comments in person, online or comment cards.
  • Responsible for establishing budgetary goals based on the hotel’s financial analysis forecast.
  • Manages on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
  • Ensures all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel. Deliver hotel budget goals and assures other short and long term strategic goals set are achieved. Develop improvement actions, carry out costs savings.
  • Responsible for Group Reservations and coordination.
  • Has a strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
  • Closely monitor the hotel’s business on a daily basis and make decisions accordingly.
  • Ensures that monthly financial outlooks for Housekeeping, front desk and maintenance are on target and accurate.
  • Maximizes room yield and hotel’s revenue through innovative sales practices.
  • Manages and develops the hotel team to ensure career progression and development.
  • Leads in all aspects of business planning.
  •  Develop Promotions within the hotel.
  • Responsible for direct billing accounts, and posting payments accordingly.
  • Responsible for auditing payroll time cards, reporting tips and absences to Human Resources and payroll.
  • Represents hotel in public affairs to build strong working relationships with the community.
  • Reviews night audit reports daily to ensure proper tracking of hotel revenue.
  • Attend Rolling Hills Casino Manager meetings and any other meetings assigned.
  • Attend Chamber of Commerce, local hotel association and other functions on a regular basis to build networking opportunities, and to represent the hotel’s interest in local issues.
  • Forecasts business trends and provides reasoning and cures for situations where improvement is needed.
  • Develops standards of service and job performance for each hotel department.
  • Establishes rate strategies based on current and historical market mix.  Rate positioning should be reviewed, monitored, and adjusted accordingly and in conjunction with business forecasts.
  • Maintains constant communication with Housekeeping Supervisor, Maintenance supervisor, and Front Desk Supervisor on the hotel’s direction and how it relates to employees.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises 10-30 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hiring, supervising, scheduling, training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, rewarding, disciplining and terminating employees. Responsible for addressing complaints and resolving problems for employees as well as guests
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
 
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and/or five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience working in a casino environment a plus. Knowledge Microsoft Office required. Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems required.
 
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external customers.
 
Mathematical Skills
