Water Operations Worker

Salary Range - $47,143 to $66,336

Under general supervision, perform all functions involved in delivering irrigation water to growers, monitor and maintain water delivery systems, water measurement, operate motor vehicles, and perform construction, general maintenance, equipment operation, and other work at the discretion of the District.

Water Operations Internship 

April to July 2026 – full-time or part-time internship

$20 to $23 per hour

Under general supervision, assist with taking field flow measurements, report to multiple supervisors to assist in proper flow measurement techniques and reporting, drive to sites and use measurement devices to obtain flow information, input and edit data within WIS and RemoteTracker system. 

All candidates must possess a valid California Driver’s License. Ability to work with a team and independently, ability to work 100% outdoors during the summer in hot conditions, good communication skills, computer concepts with the ability to record data and download reports, standard safety principles, adhere to District standards for data collection.  Knowledge of flow measurement and open channel flow is preferred but not required. Job Description: Motel Front Desk Clerk

Position: Front Desk Clerk

Location: Orland Inn, Orland, CA

Reports To: General Manager

Job Summary:

The Orland Inn is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The Front Desk Clerk will be responsible for managing the front desk operations and ensuring smooth and efficient experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be using the Cloudbeds Property Management System to handle reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and other guest services.

Key Responsibilities:

-Guest Services: Greet guests with friendly and professional demeanor, assist with check-in/check-out processes, and respond to guest inquiries and requests. Respond to guest issues promptly (i.e., TV problems, bathroom leaks).

-Reservations Management: Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the Cloudbeds Property Management System.

-Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests and other motel departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Handle emails and inquiries from potential future guests.

-Billing and Payments: Manage guest accounts, process payments, and handle billing inquiries.

-Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and transactions.

-Problem Solving: Address and resolve any guest issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

-Security: Ensure the safety and security of guests and motel property during the shift.

-General Support: Assist with various administrative tasks and support other departments as needed. Keep the lobby area clean and tidy.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.

- Proficiency with the Cloudbeds Property Management System or similar PMS software.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Demonstrates proficiency in mathematics and accuracy in cash handling

Work Schedule:

- This is a part-time position with variable shifts.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

The Glenn County In Home Supportive Services is currently recruiting for Registry Care Providers to assist elderly and or disabled individuals on the IHSS program to remain safely in their home. As an IHSS Registry provider, you will be referred out to the consumers of the IHSS program and be paid directly through the State of California.

You will be hired, trained, and supervised by your IHSS consumer.
