AB 617 Community Air Protection Grant

The Glenn County Air Pollution Control District is constantly soliciting for public comment regarding its use of AB 617 Community Air Protection grant funds and for projects. Please contact us if you have any ideas to help the air quality in your community. The availability of grant funds varies but please see below for the CAP Incentives local Polices and Procedures and California's State Guidelines.

USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) offers grants to agricultural producers. Through EQIP, NRCS provides agricultural producers with financial resources and one-on-one help to plan and implement improvements, or what NRCS calls conservation practices. Using these practices can lead to cleaner water and air, healthier soil and better wildlife habitat, all while improving agricultural operations. Through EQIP, you can voluntarily implement conservation practices, and NRCS co-invests in these practices with you.
