On October 26, 2023, the Department of Water Resources (DWR) determined the Corning Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) to be “incomplete” The Groundwater Sustainability Agencies have 180 days to address the deficiencies and resubmit the GSP for evaluation no later than April 23, 2024.

A public hearing to receive comments on the Draft Revised Corning Subbasin GSP will be held April 11, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District Main Pump Station located at 7854 County Road 203, Orland, CA 95963. Following the public hearing, the Corning Sub-basin GSA will consider adoption of the Revised Plan. Please see the agenda and meeting materials for additional information.
