The Glenn County Solid Waste Department is a division of the Glenn County Public Works Agency. The Solid Waste Division is charged with the task of operating the Transfer Station site as well as compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations associated with the operation of a Transfer Station.
This website was developed by the Glenn County Waste Management Regional Agency to provide a comprehensive guide regarding solid waste management in Glenn County.
The Glenn County Health Department, acting as the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), is certified by the California Integrated Waste Management Board to enforce state laws and regulations at solid waste facilities within its jurisdiction.The Glenn County transfer station operates under a Solid Waste Facility Permit issued by the Glenn County Health Department. The operation and design of the facility are described in a Report of Disposal Site Information (RDSI).

The Glenn County Solid Waste Transfer Station (former Landfill) will accept limited amounts of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
