The Glenn County Clerk of the Board supports the Board of Supervisors by providing essential administrative, legislative, and public service functions that ensure transparent and accountable local government. The office serves as the central point of coordination for Board activities and acts as the official record keeper for Board actions. 

  • Agenda Preparation & Posting: Prepares, publishes, and posts agendas for all Board of Supervisors meetings in compliance with the Brown Act and Glenn County Administrative Manual requirements.

  • Meeting Administration: Attends all Board meetings, records minutes, documents official actions, and coordinates any follow-up needed with County departments and agencies.

  • Official Records Management: Maintains and preserves the Board’s official records—including resolutions, ordinances, agreements, and historical documents—and ensures they are accessible to the public.

  • Boards, Commissions & Committees: Manages appointments, maintains rosters, processes applications, and oversees filing requirements for various Glenn County boards, commissions, and committees.

  • Administrative Coordination: Issues legal notices, administers oaths of office, routes approved documents, and works closely with County departments to ensure accurate processing of Board-approved actions.

  • Acts as Clerk for various other boards including the Board of Equalization, Air Pollution Control District, Assessment Appeals.
