Glenn County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a test of the CodeRED emergency notification system the morning of Thursday, September 28, 2023. The alert will be sent out to everyone who has registered their contact information in Glenn CodeRED, as well as all traditional landline phones within Glenn County.

Orland, CA –Glenn County experienced widespread flooding and debris flows this week due to excessive rain from the series of atmospheric river storms.

Glenn County residents are encouraged to prepare for the multiple storms impacting our region.

Willows, CA – Know Your Zone, Glenn County officially kicks off in time for National Preparedness Month.  Glenn County Sheriff’s Office – Office of Emergency Services (OES) has developed 165 pre-established evacuation zones for Glenn County, including the incorporated cities of Orland and Willows.

Orland, California – Glenn County is hosting emergency bottled water distribution events in October for residents impacted by dry wells resulting from the current drought.

Glenn County will be hosting a series of bottled water distribution events for residents impacted by dry wells resulting from the current drought. The bottled water was donated by Amazon to Glenn County with the assistance of Assemblyman James Gallagher. The County of Glenn is grateful for the partnership with Assemblyman Gallagher’s Office and Amazon.
