The County of Glenn is accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) to those interested parties who wish to be considered for selection to provide services to Glenn County. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit and award a multi-year contract to a provider of a network, email, and Internet usage monitoring solution.

Response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) must be received by Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency no later than November 22, 2019. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.

Glenn County (County), through its Community Action Department (CAD), is inviting Requests for Proposals (RFP) in order to establish a pool of interested organizations. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit and award a multi-year contract to local non-profit agencies in the Colusa and Trinity county regions under the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), for the provision of services that will enhance the priorities set forth by the Community Services Block Grant Community Action Plan 2020-2021 (CAP Plan). The RFP outlining the details of the request is at the following link:

Entities that are interesting in participating in provision of services in the Colusa and Trinity county regions, under the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG),   are strongly encouraged to submit a proposal by 3 p.m. on December 18, 2019.  Interested organizations are asked to submit proposals via electronic format.  Proposals should be in PDF format and emailed to with “RFP-CSBG 2020-2021” included in the subject line. 

This RFP does not commit the county to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.  The county will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFP; all costs associated with responding to this RFP will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Invitation to Bid - Hamilton City Library and Community Hall Public Project



Subject to the Conditions Set Forth by Glenn County, sealed Bids are invited for the following Bid Package:

Hamilton City Community Hall and Chester Walker Memorial Library –ADA Upgrade

BID SUBMISSION.   Glenn County will receive sealed Bids no later than 10:30 a. m. on December 23, 2019.   The Bid opening will be in accordance with procedures set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.


DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK.  The County of Glenn intends to award a construction contract which includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the Work. The work will include the following:

Chester Walker Memorial Library: Construct new accessible parking space with concrete walkway to access the existing front entrance / interior tenant alteration to replace two existing non-accessible restrooms to one accessible restroom / install a new egress door

Hamilton City Community Hall: Construct new accessible parking spaces with ramps to access the existing front and rear entrances / interior tenant alteration to locate a new warming kitchen  /  update three existing restrooms to be accessible (the third restroom is an add alternate) / install a wheelchair lift to provide accessibility to the existing stage 

Specific details plans and specifications shall further define the description of work. This Bid Package is for the Prime Contractor.

CONTRACT TIME. The successful bidder shall commence work within five (5) calendar days after the receipt of a written Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder shall complete said work within sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
