What are the Public Authority office hours?
The Glenn County Public Authority is open between the hours of 8-5 Monday-Friday. The office will be closed for all major holidays.
We do not take drop-in appointments. All appointments are required to be made in advance with the Registry staff you need to speak with. If you come to the office without an appointment, we cannot guarantee you will be seen.
Who do I contact if I am injured on the job?
You will need to contact the IHSS department at 530-865-6164 to be connected to the correct social worker.
If an IHSS provider is injured on the job, the provider should contact the recipient's IHSS social worker who will collect the information to be submitted to the workers compensation company. The workers compensation third part administrator reviews, approves, and maintains claims and relevant information.

I am a provider and I suspect Elder/Child Abuse. What do I need to do?
As a mandated reporter you are required to report any suspected abuse. If you are witnessing abuse in progress, please call 911.
Child Abuse: Call the Glenn County Child Welfare Department at 530-934-1429.
Adult/Elder Abuse: Call the Adult Protective Services Department at 530-865-1178. As a mandated reported you will also be required to complete an SOC 341 form.
I am a provider. How do I report a change of name, address, or phone number?
You would need to report any changes in address, or phone number by completed the SOC 840. This is a requirement by CDSS. You can also make changes to your address and phone number in ESP. For name changes, you will need to contact the public authority at 530-330-5453.
