The mission of the Glenn County IHSS Public Authority is to promote the well-being of both consumers and providers in a manner that facilitates and supports productive working relationships and enhances the delivery of services.

Now Hiring Registry Providers

The Glenn County In-Home Supportive Services is currently recruiting for Registry Care Providers to assist elderly and or disabled individuals on the IHSS program to remain safely in their home. As an IHSS Registry provider, you will be referred out to the consumers on the IHSS program and be paid directly through the State of California.

You will be hired, trained, and supervised by your IHSS consumer.

An IHSS provider makes an immeasurable contribution to the quality of someone’s life. You are the difference between institutional or independent living for a Glenn County Resident in need. The benefits of becoming a Registry provider not only helps those in need, but offers benefits to those doing the job. Some benefits are:

  • Flexible Schedules
  • EBUPS (Emergency back up Provider Service)- these are short assignments on an urgent need and could be paid at a differential.
  • Opportunity for overtime and travel time** (based on state regulation)

Required License or certification:

  • Valid Identification (government issued identification or driver’s license)
  • Social Security Card
  • Be able to complete the live scan process
  • Cannot have been convicted of any crime that may jeopardize the physical, mental, sexual health, safety or financial security of an IHSS Consumer.

Current wage rate for IHSS providers in Glenn County is $16.75.
